The children all had a great time selecting presents to give to their families – thank you for all your donations!!! Special kudos to those who stepped up to volunteer at each of the schools, helping kids shop and wrap their gifts.
|Dec 17 – Cancelled||10:00am||Ransom|
Both coaches are willing to transport children to practices. Please note, some of these practices will be in the mornings during winter break. Make sure your children have the proper practice attire and shoes for the gym on the practice days. Practices will be 1 1/2 hours long. Boys and girls are on separate teams, but practices will take place at the same time and in the same gym. Pick up and drop off for transportation will be in front of the schools in Ransom and Bazine. For the ride to the 10am practices in Ransom, please make sure your child is at the school in Bazine by 9:20am. The ride to Bazine will be right after school dismissal in Ransom.
We will offer a recreational basketball program for students in grades 3, 4, 5 & 6 this winter for USD #106 if there is enough interest.
Please let me know if your child(ren) will be participating by signing up online or by sending the registration form back to school with your child and I can collect from there.
THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THIS PROGRAM IS TO PROVIDE AN ENJOYABLE AND POSITIVE LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR ALL PLAYERS. VOLUNTEER COACHES WILL WORK WITH THE TEAMS.
Games will take place on Saturday afternoons during January and February. I will try to work around school-related conflicts. All players will be placed on teams comprised of 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th grade students. (Separate Boys and Girls divisions.) A schedule will be determined once we know the number of teams and towns that will be involved. If there are not enough registered or not enough coaches, we can combine with the Ness City Rec Teams. 6th graders already playing for the school cannot play on the Rec team until the school season is done.
WE NEED PARENTS TO HELP WITH COACHING! Please contact me (785) 203-6483 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if interested.
THE DEADLINE FOR ALL PLAYERS TO BE PROPERLY REGISTERED IS Friday, December 2nd
This cutoff date gives us adequate time to form teams and determine if we have enough players to form teams.
